In industrial language, “pneumatology” has to do with the pressure of machines. This book, on the other hand, deals with the pressure of the spiritual life with pneuma (πνεῦμα). It studies the Spirit of God in the Old and New Testaments by going through the different sections of the Bible in the Protestant Canon. 
Beginning with Genesis, this pneumatology looks at rûah (רוּחַ) as the essential concept describing the agent of God’s will in heaven and on earth. This book is a verse-by-verse study of all the Hebrew texts of the Old Testament that use rûah.
